Job Recruitment:

We are in the early stage of implementing grants management system. Selected candidate will obtain a clear understanding of the process of selection and management of grants for non-profit organization. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter, global minded with strong verbal and written communications skills, and a keen interest in the non-profit sector.

Key responsibilities:

Selected candidate is expected to support grant management team as follow:

  • Assisting in conducting end-to-end grants management process, as needed (from submission logging, review and administration process, grant announcement, to progress tracking) and seek additional information if needed prior to decision making.
  • Share recommendations of grant requests to team for accounting/tracking purposes.
  • Support the document justifications and outcomes of procurement activity.
  • Follow up with grant recipients to learn how the grant has impacted their inclusion into the community, report findings to team.
  • Assist with outreach efforts where applicable.
  • Survey grant recipients on how to improve processes.
  • Offer suggestions for improving proposal templates, internal data tracking, workflow tracking/management, etc.
  • Other task as assigned.

Candidate specifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in international development, social studies, management, or a related field.
  • The prospective intern should have strong writing, editing, analytical, organizations skills and should enjoy writing.
  • A high level of computer proficiency is desired, this includes experience with Internet research.
  • Possess excellent communications and able to work within a team.
